The article highlights the life path, scientific and pedagogical activity of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Mirsodik Ishakov, his contribution to the study of the sciences of antiquity.

The article is devoted to the study of the scientific activity of the great Hanafi faqih Fakhruddin Kazikhan, who lived and worked during the time of the Karakhanids of the 12th century in Maverannahr. The article analyzes the structure, methods, chapters and themes of the famous works of this scientist. The article also talks about the role of his works in Islamic law, considers universal values and ideas of philanthropy, in the views of the scientist.

This article focuses on the emergence of waqf property in the history of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the entry, development, history and current activities of waqfs of Islamic values in the territory of Mawarannahr. There is also talk about the management, formation and end of the property of waqfs during the emirate and khanate period after the Russian invasion.

This article discusses the main issues of the psychology of Sufism, their division into four directions and the psychological problems associated with each direction. The four areas include: the psychological theory of Sufism, the psychological aspects of Sufi practice (psychotechnics), the psychophysiological foundations of Sufism, and the social psychology of Sufi communities. At the heart of these questions lie the problems of the psychology of Sufism. It should be said that similar problems are observed in other branches of psychology.

This article describes the attitude of Imam Ghazali to the issue of Sharia and Tariqa in his work. His works present his views on the interaction of two issues and the problem of compromise. As a teaching of Sufism with theoretical and practical aspects, it is substantiated that the practical, spiritual and psychological condition of the Sufi improvement of a person, the process of self-education and learning is a natural phenomenon. Tarikat, which is a long way of Sufism, is based on the emergence of the concepts of truth, which are the basis of enlightenment and self-awareness, leading to the highest status. The levels, philosophical paths and stages of knowledge, known as the epistemology of Sufism, were also explored.

The article describes the life of the famous Sufi, scientist and thinker Abulkasim Abdulkarim Kushayri, who lived in the X-XI centuries, reveals the socio-political environment and cultural life of the caliphate, as well as historical processes. In particular, from the standpoint of the history of philosophy, the socio-political situation of that period, the influence of the Shafi-Asharite school in shaping the worldview and scientific heritage of Kushayri, including the thinker’s interest in Sufi teaching, are analyzed.

Proverbs have been an integral part of human life for thousands of years. Proverbs and sayings can be found in all spheres of human life. We all use proverbs throughout our life. This article deals with the translation of Arabic proverbs into Uzbek - full equivalence, partial equivalence, paremiological analogues, methods of non-equivalent proverbs.

As we know, at one of the first stages in teaching Arabic pronunciation, students and teachers are faced with a phenomenon such as linguistic or interlanguage interference. This article presents an analysis of the sources used by Mahmud Zamakhshari in writing his work on Arabic grammar, “al-Mufassal fiy san’at al-e’rab” The scholar supported every rule of grammar with strong arguments. It is known that the most correct text in Arabic is the verses of the Holy Qur’an. At the same time, Zamakhshari explained how the differences between Qur’an recitations affect the structure of sentences and meaning of ayats.

The article is devoted to the problem of classification, characteristics and properties of business letters in Russian. Business writing is part of a broader cultural context. The article defines the main properties of a business letter, their characteristics are given. The author presents in detail the classification of business letters and their distinctive features. The author comes to the conclusion that business writing occupies an important place in modern society.

This article talks about the tafsir of the scholar Abu Mansur al-Moturidi, who grew up in Mawaraannahr, called Ta’wilat al-Qur’an, the style of tafsir used in it, manuscripts, copies kept in libraries, and the role of hadith in the interpretation of verses in the work. Abu Mansur al-Maturidi is a mutakallim scholar and a mufassir. One of the two works of the scientist that have reached us is related to tafsir, known as “Ta’wilat al-Qur’an” and “Ta’wilat ahli-sunna”. The article discusses the manuscripts, copies and modern editions of this work. In the science of tafsir, Imam Maturidi used the method of naqli tafsir as well as the method of intellectual tafsir, and used ahadith extensively in tafsir. The article also provides information about the role of ahadith in this interpretation.

Among the sources of Islamic history in the Middle Ages, Muhammad ibn Jarir Tabari’s work “Tarikh ar-Rusl wa al-Muluk” (“Tarikh ar-Rusul wal-muluk” - “History”) occupies a special place. The article is devoted to the role of religion in the prevention of gender aspects, since gender studies on different material show that institutional religions reinforce the subordinate position of women, at the same time alienate women from themselves due to the fact that they do not respect women’s rights.
