Imam Bukhari’s «Al-Jami’ As-Sahih» and Its Rare Manuscripts
Muhammad ibn Ismail Bukhari’s “al-Jami’ as-Sahih” is the first book of the authentic hadith collections. As the second source of Islamic teaching, this book has been copied several times and its manuscripts are kept in various funds of the world. In a result of preliminary researches, its 896 copies in 71 funds of 34 countries were explored. Lots of these rare manuscripts were copied in the XIII-XVIII centuries. There are remarkable copies among these copies.
Source study of the work of ibn Muqaffa “al-Adab al-kabir”
This article analyses the work of ibn Muqaffa, a scholar and thinker who has a special role in the development of islamic science, especially literature, and his role in the study of Muslim sources, ethics and politics. The research also explores the benefits of friendship, social partnership, justice, the benefits of science and generosity in “аl-Аdab al-kabir”.
Orthodox organizations in Turkestan government general
After the Russian invasion of Turkestan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Russian emigration to this country accelerated. Immigrants from Russia came with their religion and customs. The article analyzes the construction and reconstruction of Orthodox churches, monasteries, and primary schools in Turkestan, as well as the contribution of the local population and Russian philanthropists during Tsarist Russia to the construction of these structures.
On the symbol of «peace» consisting of three elements
This article contains information about the Russian writer, traveler, archeologist, orientalist, artist, statesman and public figure and academic of the Russian Academy of Arts Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich and his scientific research in Uzbekistan. In particular, the symbols on the panels found in excavations of different years in the western part of the ancient city of Afrosiyab, the ring carved ganch in the hall of the Samanid palace, the three-element sign on the tomb of the prophet Daniel, the symbol on the roof of the State Museum of Timurid history and Khorezm.

The article is devoted to the philosophical content of the concepts of “аl-wala” and its levels by the successor of the Naqshbandi doctrine, Ahmad Ziyuddin Kumushkhanawi (1813-1893). In his work “Wali and Methods in Tariqat” Kumushkhanawi classifies the degrees and levels of Awliya into “Qutb”, “Nukabo”, “Nudjabo”, “Abdоl”, “Avtоd”, “Imamain”, “Umanо”, “Majzub”, duties, the external and internal qualities of these awliyas, as well as the external and internal aspects of each of their attributes, are studied by the author.
Science of Kalam: Stages of its development

The role of Nasaf scientists in the development of islamic sciences
The article is devoted to highlighting the role of scientists of the ancient city of Nasaf in Mawaraunnahr in the development of science and education, in particular, Islamic sciences in the region and the Islamic world in general. Indeed, many scientists have succeeded in this scientific center, located on the Great Silk Road and with an ancient cultural history. Also, this city in the Middle Ages served as an important place for scientists from different countries to conduct scientific research.
Analysis of 14th century’s vakuf document
The article describes the life and activity of Abul Mafokhir Yahya ibn Ahmad – the sheikh of kubraviya tariqa grandson of Sayfiddin Boharziy. Moreover, article includes analysis of his wakuf document, created in 726/1326 year and amended in 733/1333 year. Wakuf document also clearly describes the property and the territory of the mausoleum, methods of realization of the wakuf assets and requirements to the mutawally (trustee).
The formation of the ruling system of the Arab Caliphate
The article examines the emergence of the first Islamic state in the Arabian Peninsula, the period of the Rashidian caliphate and the formation of the ruling system of the Arab Caliphate on the basis of primary sources and scientific literature. The issues of the formation of the Devan system in the caliphate, the introduction of positions in it, as well as some issues related to socio-economic life were discussed in too.
Activities of educators in the implementation of a pedagogical project in Turkestan
The educational phenomenon is very important not only in personal education, but also in the formation of national identity. This clearly manifested itself in the Turkestan region at the early of the 20th century, when local educators tried to start reorganizing the educational process. This paper is devoted to the analysis of the activities of the enlighteners of Turkestan. In particular, issues such as difficulties in organizing new-method schools, the textbooks used and the confrontation between the national intelligentsia and the state are considered.

The article describes the role of Khoja Muhammad Porso in the science of tafsir, the history of the work “Tafsiri Koran”, its preservation in world libraries, and also analyzes the views of orientalists on this work. Codicological and textological analysis of the manuscript of the work “Tafsiri Koran”, which is an autographic copy kept in the manuscript fund of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Abu Raikhan Beruni under inventory number 2180.
The explanation and distinctive interpretation of the concept “territory” in the works of Muhammad ibn Hasan Shaybani
The issue of “hudud” (territory) has of great importance in international relations in Islam. For this reason, over the centuries, Muslim jurists have written many works on this topic. In particular, the great jurist Imam Muhammad Shaybani, in his writings “al-Siyar al-kabir” and “al-Siyar al-saghir”, studied the issue of hudud in Islam in detail.
This article gives the explanation of the concept of “hudud” in the scientific works of Muhammad Shaybani. In particular, he explained such concepts as “dar al-Islam”, “dar al-harb” and “dar al-sulh” in his work “al-Siyar al-kabir”. The article also presents the views of other sects of Islam on the classification of “hudud”.
Amir Temur’s views on national and religious tolerance
Since the roots of interethnic and interreligious relations are so ancient, it cannot be denied that today the study of their history, the prevention of national and religious conflicts, and the education of national and religious tolerance remain a very important issue. The state of Amir Temur, who built a huge empire in the Middle East, was diverse from a national and religious point of view. Qadi from Ustrushana and his scientific heritage

Description of followers of tariqa in the work of Haji Muhammad Shahdi
The literary heritage of the great and learned poet Haji Muhammad Shahdi, who was brought up in the literary environment of Kokand, contains historical and artistic information about Khoja Bahauddin Naqshband and the Naqshbandi sect. In Shahdi’s poetry, his high devotion to this person is reflected in many meaningful poems. He also learned from the teachers in the Naqshbandi series and interpreted them as his piri, proving that he was a member of the Shahdi sect. The article examines the manaqibnama poems related to Hazrat Hoja Bahauddin Naqshband in the poems of Haji Muhammad Shahdi.
